MYA in Heat (Siamese Cat)

Mya (my Chocolate Point Siamese) is in heat, once again. Happens every month, sometimes every 2 weeks for a week. The middle video clip is when she is calling (it's non-stop for 5-7 days & she still yells in her sleep sometimes too)... try sleeping through that!!! :S And all my family & friends don't believe me of how LOUD her little self can get; being a Siamese cat doesn't really help either!! lol Enjoy all you non-cat or spayed cat people. lol

WHY NOT GET HER SPAYED?!
- She is now, but I was breeding her at the time.

I'm getting a kitten soon, and I can't decide whether I should get a male or female.

I just hope if I get a female I can get get her sprayed.

i have both males & females... females cost more to get fixed than males does.

as for affection... they are both equal from my experience. females are a little more sassy, but i love that.

i just got my males fixed & they are 1 yrs old and it cost me $150 CDN each where as i got Mya fixed at 1yr. 4mths old + she was in heat again when it happen so it was an extra $50, so it came to nearly $300 CDN.

if Russ was fixed and trying to mate with her, that woud have helped Mya out tremendously. Even though he doesn't have nuts doesn't mean he can't perform so to speak. He just can't get her pregnant. My bengal girl is in heat and I was hoping that my fixed siamese boy would help her out, but he has not interest whatsoever. Beautiful cats though!

We own a siamese seal point, a female named Ping. Dear sweet baby Jesus when that little cat goes into heat the whole house can't sleep for a good week and a half for God's sakes. If you guys want to buy a siamese, just know THEY TALK, in heat or NOT in heat. It is just louder when they are... much, much, much louder x.x

So cute - at the start of the vid when they have a "Oops, caught!" look and then Russ backpedalled (side-pedalled actually) out of the situation lol

Cats pick up body language so fast:) I house-sit for my fren's cat who is familiar with me. When I catch her where she knows she is not allowed eg. kitchen counter, I just look at her for a couple of seconds and she will behave.

Doesn't work 100% tho' esp if she thinks you maybe more lenient than the owners LOL
