I like rise against..and i like meat. hey vegan, w/e more power to you. Says in the bible animals were put here on earth mainly as food for us. It is 100% acceptable to eat animals. Cow, yum. Pig, yum. Chicken..with barbecue sauce. YUM. ...cruelty? nah not really into tht, hate it in fact..but idk just different from eating them

@KingofHumility I gather that its a decent small family farm? Huge Factory Farms (veganoutreach(dot)org/video) abuse animals to maximize profits. Pigs in gestration crates or tiny cages to fatten up by restricting movement for example

Madcowboy (dot)com is a former rancher now really against the industry and its practices today that he is vegan, famous from going on Oprah and speaking the truth resulted in a huge lawsuit by lubbock, tx to silence them which we won. Its all unncessary today

Well seeing as how I actualy LIVE on a real cattle ranch, all this crap about ranchers treating their animals cruely seems pretty bogus. It is after all, a business. There's usualy no reason to cause pain to your animals, and under most circumstances, you don't want to. They ARE what you make money off of. Saying that a rancher just goes out and beats the crap out of his animals is like a saying a shop owner regularly stomps on his merchandise for fun. Give me a break people.

i still like meat dont flame but im completely against the horrible ways they treat their animals which is why i buy from a local farm in PA they take good care of their animals and i buy the product. animals that are eaten are meant to be eaten because people eat them we are a dominince and if cows were more dominant they would eat us too

@giantman121 I agree that factory farms are bad. Mass output or poor standards will remain due to the amount we eat. However, after lots of thought/research I cant find a reason to consume flesh besides taste after its cooked. Its simply unncessary in 2011, horrible for our environment, health (veg live longer), wastes resources that aid world hunger (10lbs of corn/grain fed to animals only gives 1lb flesh) animals well fed yet humans go hungry, driving up competition and prices for grains too

I cut down my meat consumption to only fish "because of medical purposes" but chicken/other meats are totally out.

I dont care if you are vegetarian or not, all i know is that im healthier and happy that i can help stop the needless killing of farm animals.

and for all the asshoels who say "ughhh screw vegetarianism im going to eat a burger", just remember you just said "Ughh im a fatass who loves eating animal shit"

Im not talking abot meat eaters, only the a-holes who say that.
