I think the call with pocket 4s is waaay waaay worse then the all in with the AQs
-
@soulhunger1 I would think that's common sense.

AQ is premium holdings in 5 handed, cant hate on him for going all in there. He was coming for that number one spot. Whats the difference between 6th and 1st?i think 63 k, probably aint gonna see another hand better than AQ if ur just gonna blind out
-
@IMakeBoringVideos I agree. It's so standard, he's trying to pick up the blinds and antes with a standard shove with <10 BBs. Why would you care about the $6.5k when you've just made $20k? He was going for the $80k. A fold here would make me puke.

Ur right .. sometimes it;s just better to fold and wait till the other player is out
-
If your looking just to cash,..but if you wanna get 1st position then dont fold aces preflop in a headsup pot...
-
Hypothetical KK fold or not, depends on bankroll situation imho. Good point Marty.

Calling with 44 in the SB? LOL
-
callig with 4's was retarded......but going alling with AQ was just as stupid if youre not the short stack....costed himself 6,500 what a fool....the other guy didnt even have enough for a full Big blind. idiot
-
called him with fours ?
I know some people say "never fold Kings preflop", but I think such a statement is silly. In some situations, it is beneficial to fold any hand, including aces. For example, being second in chips in a double or nothing sit-n-go during bubble play, facing an all-in raise from the chip leader. It is mathematically better to fold aces in that spot, and wait for a shorter stack to go out. There's no reason to risk losing just to earn some chips when everyone in the money gets paid the same.

Doyle Brunson doesn't play AQ, and he has 10 WSOP bracelets.
