Mike's Hoover Sensotronic System 50

My friend Mike's stunning Hoover Sensotronic System 50, complete with Electro Kinetic power nozzle. This is one powerful machine - note how it yanks the rug right off the floor to begin with!

The fine dust on the Activator at the end is dirt which a whole day's vacuuming with other Hoover cleaners didn't manage to dislodge from the depths of the rug.

This was filmed at the August 2008 Hooverland Meet at Alistair's house. I did some of the camera-work, Mike filmed while I was using the Senso. The test-dirt came courtesy of Simon's Turbopower Freedom, and Alistair's hole-punch. Background vocals by Seamus and Stephen.

the front of the power nozzle sorta looks like a junior but a bit more techno looking. great film and great shirt jack! lol

The power nozzle reminds me more of the Turbolite/Elite.

I picked up the T-Shirt in North Canton, Ohio, at Hoover's 100th Anniversary celebration.

I just managed to get hold of an Electro Kinetic head for my system 50, can't wait to give it a go, they seem much better than the later Turbo 300 head

I love these canisters soo much better than the Hoover Dimensions. They are quiet and the power nozzle does not make to much racket.

That's an interesting power nozzle, completely different from what we have in the states. In fact, Hoover had an entirely different system in the US, the Hoover Dimension Canister. The Sensotronic was better in my opinion, the machine is soo quiet and the power nozzle sounds a lot smoother than the Quadraflex Powermatic.

Hey, we had one of those!!!, Lol...great filming Jack, that must be the best combination of motorised head n vac, much better than the later model...It just loves to eat dirt..& rugs!!!
