Actually, songs called: "race with the devil on Turkish highway" album: "The infinate desire" ---al di meola---. I guess Steve Vai was a guest on the album.

@bulentvay "Race with the devil on a Spanish higway" I've seen the title both ways. Im spanish, muslims were here for 700 years... so the music is still accurate describing a muslim country.

This is "Race With Devil on Turkish Highway" from the Infinite Desire album (1998), and Steve Vai plays as a guest on this track. This song is an updated version of "Race With Devil on Spanish Highway" which was on the Elegant Gypsy album (1977) and also performed live on the Tour de Force album (1982). You'll find a few covers here on YouTube ranging from metal to Berklee College of Music students, to Guitar Hero.

This song i a new version of an older one called "Race With Devil on Spanish Highway" with is present on the album "Elegant Gypsy" (well known as one of Di Meola iconic albums)

@bulentvay The ORIGINAL song, which was recorded by DiMeola in the late 70s, was called Race with the Devil on Spanish Highway. It's much more of a 'rock" song than this version, and there are no vocals on it; the riff and melodies are the same, however. This version, which was recorded for this newer album, is indeed called "Race with the devil on Turkish Highway."

Just wanted to clear that up.
