This band was a victim of the collapse of Noise Records in the late 80's. Which unfortunately is why you probably haven't heard of these guys until now. Brilliant musicians from Germany playing the power metal style prominent of that era. Helloween, Gamma Ray, Metal Church, Scanner, Rage, Judas Priest, would all be good comparisions.

  • Wow. I have this video collection too. And even Mania's CD

  • I have been searching for that cd for over 10 years and I still haven't found a copy.

  • Very catchy riffs! \m/ \m/

  • They do sound like vintage Helloween and that is a GOOD thing! Keep in mind that back in the late 80s,there were only a handful of bands that played in this particular melodic German speed-metal style (Helloween,Scanner,Running Wild and a couple of others). Very few modern power-metal bands play "authentic" 80s German speed-metal...a shame really. (Storm Warrior comes close.) Most sound like Stratovarius clones...strange since they are basically clones of Helloween with "Yngwie" keyboards.

  • @valentinian2003 Tommy Newton? Wasn't his second name Hansen when he produced Keepers of the seven Keys Part II? I thought he was a brother to Kai Hansen at first. lol I need to check my CD albums.. I have first pressings of those.. so hold a second... My mistake, it was produced by Tommy Newton and co-produced by Tommy Hansen. Part II was engineered and mixed by Newton and Hansen.

  • @TimeLordGuitar Don't forget Attack and Heavens Gate even though they were signed on other labels. But that melodic power metal style of the 80's could Americans also play like Titan Force. They were a good band but unfortunately disappearing in the early 90's like most power metal bands did. Attack did for sure enjoyed the modern power metal style after their compilation album Revitalize from 1994. I honestly think that The Secret Place is one of the best modern power metal albums outhere!

  • Wow, Tommy Newton, guitarist of Victory, looks so tired as producer for this band :-0...Same time period as Helloween's Keeper of the seven Keys, also produced by this excellent guitarist!

  • toll! \m/

  • Daddy´s Band!! i´m soo proud!! Too bad that Mania no longer exists! It was his little love...
