So many people write negatively of the dim light but they forget it's a tactical/military watch. I'm surprised its surface is as reflective as it is. Obviously, the Core can be improved but it's still a very good watch for outdoor activities.

Just ordered mine today. Sweet watch. Perfect military watch. The indiglo is so dim for tactical purposes so the enemy cant see what your doing. Great vid. Thanks for posting. Really excited for it.

The band is my primary complaint with these watches. They are very weak and flimsy. I've had to buy three replacement bands for my Core in three years. The light is also quite weak and difficult to see. Glass is excellent but modes are not instinctual. Great watch though and I'd buy another, but I'd like to see Sunnto improve these things.

does this model give you a alarm for a sudden boro change that is audible ? I use my other for spirit hunting and need one that alerts to sudden change for data gathering if not do you know of a Suunto with ? thanks

Yes, it's called "Storm Alarm." I'm not sure how adjustable the alarm parameters are, however.
