Celest's culture shock

Even though the stars may have lined up for her return to local TV, the truth is that four years away has made adapting back to local culture a bit tough for the actress.

She joked that she went into a state of catatonia when she guest-starred in Crime Busters.

It was a bit of a culture shock. Every country has a different hierarchy of production, the culture, the way they talk is different, she said.

Because shed already gotten to the suan-ing culture in Taiwan where people have no qualms about making fun of others working on a set where everyone was so nice and polite was a bit strange for her!

But theyre both good lah, both environments have their good and bad points, she said.
