Protest against anti-tomboy fatwa

bout a dozen protestors marched through Kuala Lumpur denouncing the recent discriminatory

Those involved were from two groups Katagender (which promotes gender sensitivity) and Food-not-Bombs, and included several men.

Armed with a large banner which read Lawan semua fatwa menindas perempuan (Oppose all fatwa which oppresses women), the protestors marched from the Ampang Park LRT station to the vicinity of KLCC.

It's not the matter of white or black. Islam demands ladies to abide by their feminism and men to abide by their masculinity in a moderate manner. Islamic jurisprudence differs a little bit across cultures. Actually, pengkid and pondan are both not healthy and this is common sense.

To these childish demonstrators, you guys have choice of whatever you want to wear, the fatwas are only for Muslims and we don't really have law enforcement for this fatwa. They should educate themselves on Islam

Fatwa di Malaysia hnya untk org2 Islam shaja.. Tetapi, untuk wanita2 Islam, menutup aurat itu adalah wajib, dan terang2 diperjelaskan di dlam Al Quran yg suci(x de siape pn yg menyangkal kebenaran,ttg wajibnya menutup aurat bagi wanita.Walaupn ramai yg buat x tau dan x mengikutinya). Insyaallah jika kita mengikut smua ajaran dan suruhan Islam, x timbul masalah nak membezakan yg mane pengkid @ wanita sejati..renung2 kanlah.

i don't know what religion of all this woman are...if you all don't know about the holly quran and islam...don't ever dare to talk about it...learn more about your own religion and scriptures...
