Thanks so much. This helped a bit. I'm in a choir and I'm used to singing in my head voice. I have to practice my mixed voice more often--Although it feels like I run out of air much faster when i try this technique than when I sing in my head voice.

You had to mention Adam Lambert, didn't you! :) With that you just raised the bar to near impossible :) Anyway, I still don't get it. The more I read/watch, the more confused I get because there are so many conflicting opinions and not enough thorough explanations. When you talk about vibration in the face I get confused because it doesn't make sense at all. The only vibration I can feel is in the lower part of my throat.

Was the "not so pretty" part in your falsetto? The operatic notes were in your head voice, am I correct? Don't get me wrong...you have an amazing voice. Your mix I am not sure about it sounds heady though. Isdn't it supposed to sound chest /belty like?
