A spoof trailer for a Star Wars movie that doesn't exist -- even though it should! The film stars three of my kids: Huw (8), Zeph (4) and Gretchen (6). We shot this in the field across the street from our house on a snowy day during the Christmas holidays. Then I spent the next several nights editing it. I should note that this is a slightly tweaked version of the original video I posted on Youtube. It includes an extra blaster effect and a few other fixes.
For anyone who's interested, I shot it on a Canon ZR90 camcorder then edited it in Windows Movie Maker. I created the blaster effect using a combination of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. Incidentally, this is the last project I'm going to edit in Windows Movie Maker, seeing as you can only add one extra audio track at a time. Too complicated. Adobe Premiere from here on in!
This may also be my last Star Wars film. Gretchen is itching to star in her own film, preferably one where no one dies at the end.
