  • That is the beauty of our position. We are allowed to debate these things and figure them out for ourselves without the interference of dogma and institutions.

  • Are you on dope?

  • Two athiests arguing? That's a problem? Athiests should all be in agreement on everything? Is that what you're saying?

  • Well, atheism is not a religion. We don't necessarily agree with each other except for the disbelief in gods part.

However, I too grow really bored with the hissy fits and piss fights between some of the people you mention and have unsubbed from all of them. Not because i hate any of them but because their squables are boring as hell, a total waste of time and energy. Happily there is Thunderf00t, Freethinker, DPRJones, and other interesting people to keep the intellectual ball rolling.

  • what is at all strange about 2 athiests arguing? or 2 men? or 2 of any kind of human? simply because this world seems driven by labels and by who is in whos club has nothing to do with 2 individuals disagreeing!

christians do it, bees do it, people in the same drama club in highschool... hell if you are right shouldnt everyone holding, or running for a public office be in agreement?

there is no predecided reason FOR 2 athiests to agree!

  • What about Bush?

  • HIGHLY indeed....... wow..... makes me wanna resign the faith.......

  • This guy is one of the worst representations for Christianity I have ever seen...

  • It's interesting that you want to ban a word because it represents something you don't believe in. Should we ban other words and books we disagree with, like "Harry Potter" because it has magic in it, or maybe ban the word "God" and "Allah" and "Christ" and "Theology" and "Hallucination" because they can't and don't exist. Maybe we should keep people ignorant of others peoples perceptions of reality. Maybe we should mimic the Salem Witch Trials only turn the tables; burn the Christians. Dumbass.

  • Just because you are an ignoramus doesn't mean we all are. Children, and I mean young children, have a natural tendency to look for towards a protective source. They also tend to have vivid imaginations. Thus, they create a god. I'm not saying it's correct view, I'm saying this is what we know about kids minds. As people get older, we often shed this belief in the supernatural. If you look at many earlier religions, they have often mimic children's imaginations.
