Turbo Joe's Focus wagon at LACR

Really nice pass at Los Angeles County Raceway at the Hangover Nationals. Track is at 2800+ foot elevation.

The motor is a 2.8L Ford/Esslinger 4-banger with a C-4 automatic. The car is all steel and glass (2650#), with all power accessories and lights intact and functioning...including the 6-disc CD changer. :)

its a automatic C4 built by protrans in Ca. and yes its a turbocharged 4cy based on the ford 2.3 alla Pinto motor.

u can hear that the transmission is standar, automatic is different and more slowly, i think that have turbo but this car is a monster!! yeah!

at first i didnt think it was a 4 banger but it is.

they turned the engine sideways for RWD transmission from what kinda car i dunno. if i dont have my wagons mixed up i think this one is also a single cam which is pretty small in displacement. thats what led me to believe it runs on alcohol with a huge friggin turbo.

either way that sombitch is fast!!
