  • the reason you get fires at gas stations is in the states you can stick the hose in the tank then piss around building up a static charge while the tank fills. In the UK this feature has been removed from the pumps and you have to hold in trigger in or the gas does not flow so no static build up.

Remove the latch that holds the trigger open until gas backs up the tank and no more Gas Station Fires

  • @weelee021 no you dont i live in canada and not all pumpshave that option taken away. PS THIS BITCH LIGHTS A SMOKE IN HER CAR, AND GRABS THE PUMP WITH THE SMOKE IN HER HAND, ITS NOT STATIC!!!!!!

  • Fire investigation 101, a cigarette will not ignite an ignitable liquid in any concentration of air and fuel because the ash if the cigarette protects the flame. You can literally take a lit cigarette and put it closer and closer to a cup of gasoline until you dip it in. it will never ignite. It would have to be an open flame like a match.

  • @shiftjeenyus Yeah? Where's the cig? Does she rub it into her sweater @ 1:00 when she gets out of her car? That's definitely static man. Wool sweater will easily do that. There is no cig or smoke from it in the video. Sorry, but where do you see it?

  • Lmao...keep blowing girl it will go off

  • its quite simple really, the woman lets go of the filling nozzle, gets in her car and starts moving around alot, all the time building up static in what is probably a polyester top. She gets out of the car and doesnt touch the car if you notice..when she grabs the nozzle again she discharges all the static to ground through the nozzle and hose. The sparks generated are enough to ignite the fuel/air mixture around the nozzle where the mixture is perfect for ignition to occur.

  • @yrusuchadick It is actually pretty widely known not to get back into the car. My local gas station has a sign warning drivers to remain next to the pump.

  • static elektricity

  • @weelee021 its not against the law u friggin narc

  • @shiftjeenyus OK...guess I don't where I live...PS maybe you should be proactive and report these stations that are breaking the law...

  • In canada you have to hold the handle...prevents spills as well as fires. Seems stupid to still allow people to walk away while filling...simple regulation would prevent this.
