  • Great video!! Made me homesick really. I'm from Phonpei and it warms my heart to see the simplicity of life to the busy hectic life outside of there. :) Living there was like living in your own bubble lol so to speak. Everything was simple, slow (too slow at times) and complacent.

Thank you for posting your video. I enjoyed it.

    :) LH

  • Your welcome. I miss Pohnpei, too. I love the slower pace of life. It enables me to really focus on God and His beautiful creation. Koht en ketiket rhemwi.

  • i want to work in micornesia. im from the philippines. but i cant find a way to get a job. can you help me?

  • When we were in Pohnpei, many people who were from the Philippines lived and worked in Pohnpei. Best bet is to probably look up "Telecom FSM" online and find a business owned by Filipinos...Make contact with them and see if they can help with visas, etc.

  • Hello Christian. I am also from Philippines and from Salvation Army too. Although right now i am fellowshipping in Calvary Chapel Dumaguete, Philippines since there is no SA here. I will be interviewed by one of the Dean of the COM FSM an applicant for Computer Instructor by the way and hopefully could pass by GOD's help. I just want you to know also that i enjoy your missionary trip journal and i could relate in some of your frustrations. Hope you're doing well in your new place and GOD bless.

  • Hello my friend. We have fellowshipped both in The Salvation Army and Calvary Chapel before. I pray that you get the job as Computer Instructor at COM. Thank you for the encouragement. Maybe someday we will be able to meet and worship the Lord together. Our family is off to Poland in six months to serve as missionaries. Please keep in touch. Grace and peace to you.
