I saw it today and I'm glad I did this was a solid movie, its not perfect but I thought it was a great hybrid movie that you don't see much nowadays.

LMAO the best part was DOLPHINS AND ALIENS. Great review, I loved the film. I totally agree that you must watch it in theaters, and understand what you mean by "having to turn your brain off but you should't have to." Yeah, I get that

I'm with Christian on this one. It was fine as a mindless popcorn flick, but I thought it had the potential to be better.

I wonder if the title "Cowboys and Aliens" was meant to lower audiences' expectations going in so they'd end up liking the movie more.
