www.globetrekker.nl....Unfortunately, the visit to the tomb not: it was the anniversary of the famous poet of Iran and President Ahmadinejad was there with his people.
to form our own opinion of that country, instead of relying on the media.
It was a total surprise: good infrastructuur, beautiful architecture, and very
nice people. They came to talk to us, not only to practice their English or sell us things,
but also asking very interested on our opinion about their country.
We were welcomed in their home country and city like we were family.
We advise travelers who are looking for a special destination to plan a visit
to Iran!
But of course there are also negative things: to have to comply to wearing a scarf is not
always that easy, especially not when you are living there. Although we saw a lot of
Iranian women who looked very pretty wearing it.
