@patneaudem well his career record is 14-1 so i think he's doing ok
-
@SUGAR54446 why would he hit him with a 2 strike count you fucking idiot
-
I don't know if you guys have watched Alfredo Aceves, but he hits everybody. Not just Byrd. He can't help it.
-
@SUGAR54446 It was a yankee pitcher that killed a batter
-
I still remember when Andre Dawson was plunked in the face by Eric Show back in 1987...that pretty much led to WWIII on the playing field. The umpires were escorting Show down the clubhouse stairs for his own safety as the entire Cubs team headed for the visiting dugout.

I have taken 85+ off my head, if he was trying to bean him, it wouldn't of been near his head. It's hard to do anything but move your head at 90mph and that could of been career ending

HAHAHAHAAAA!!!! Lmfoa!! Excellent question >mysweet74

I couldn't agree more.
@browerpowr @jepuskar
That's not true, there was never a real rivalry between the two teams. Even the announcers were talking about how accommodating Red Sox fans were to Cubs fans during this series. It was clear in the 3rd game last night that Kerry Wood (Cubs) was out to get a batter when he hit Lowrie for revenge, but in game 1 and 2 of the series, everything was clearly an accident. I was very disappointed in Wood last night. These pitchers need to show professionalism & sportsmanship

Red Sox are a dirty organization, I mean that looked like an intentional head shot.... But Quade had Kerry Wood even it up... He was showing 2-1... At first, I thought my cousin who is a Yankees fan was just saying red sox are assholes because of the rivalry, but no, they really are assholes

@SUGAR54446 You're ridiculous. Do you actually watch baseball? Those pitches happen ALL OF THE TIME!!!! Seriously, watch 1 one game and you'll see it. The difference is that the batter will move his head out of the way!

Why can't everyone just be thankful he's ok? It was an ACCIDENT! Pitchers miss by that much ALL THE TIME, the difference is that the batter usually moves out of the way quicker or enough so that the ball gets a piece of their shoulder or something. It was a shitty pitch and a horrible accident, but it was still just an accident. Get over it!
