this thing is Amazing, Ford had it perfect when they made this car,, WHAT HAPPEnED?? i almost shit when merc tried to re-invent the cougar in 1999 with that FWD econo shitbox!! that car was as bad as their attempt at the " MUSTANG 2" in the mid 70s

What a beauty... the color, the vinyl roof, the proportions. Incredible design. Ford made the very best muscle cars, hands down.

Very nice. I was looking at one like this with a 302 windsor last week brought over from the states to OZ Price $30,000-$40,000 . Classic American muscle cars are much sought after here.

Mercury should have continued making the original Cougar and evolved the design, just as Porsche has done with the 911. The first Cougars were really good looking cars.

Mine had a fight with a couple of tree's going 120 mph and lost... I miss that car I will have another someday.... Stupid things ya do when your young.... But i survived and with no seat belt.... only had a lil cut above my nose from the windshield shattering
