MONKS CAGE MONKEYS- THAILAND/ MYANMAR

In Thailand and Burma it is not illegal to keep Monkeys in-humanely. Unwanted animals are given to local temples. This Monkey is "cared for" by Monks at a temple in Burma. He lives in a cage and is taunted everyday. Please help us to stop this by signing our petition to the Thai and Burmese government. OUR AIM: To enable legitimate Monkey sanctuaries in Thailand or qualified animal welfare people to over-ride the Monks and be able to take the Monkeys into a safer, happier and more natural environment...

Again,Gemmaashford is one of the most amazing persons i have ever met in my life,absolutely selfless. she is always giving and giving without asking for nothing in return and in return she gets too little.This monkey needs help, because it needs it, and if you are a monkey hater it doesnt mean this monkey doesnt need help.She made the choice of caring about others pain and when u made that desicion,u suffer just as the other does.By the way she is also vegetarian, So sign!!!!

@gemmaashford1 For having so many problems, you seem to have more than enough time to put out happy crap on you tube. If all you see is negative in people. then that's your choice. People will live up or down to your expectations. The days I can walk, I work at the Big Cat Sanctuary near here. I can either see the negative in the abuse they have suffered, or see the positive in the life they are going to have now. It's a simple choice. BTW, it's a public forum, and I will write whatever I want.

@junkintrunk55 and as far as drive thru's go...I have been a vegetarian since I was 8 and don't do fast food...not that there is such a place in the middle of the jungle!!

@junkintrunk55 Everyone being who? From what I can see here, there is nothing but negative responses here. I live in Thailand and due to my work- rescuing animals, I have to visit the temple on a weekly basis...what is wrong with trying to help any animal that I see suffering including this monkey? If you have nothing positive to say then please don't say anything...I have enough problems dealing with death and cruelty on a daily basis and don't need this...

@gemmaashford1 What gets me is that everyone is concerned for this monkey, but think nothing stopping at the drive thru and getting their hamburger. This is a park compared to a slaughterhouse. Some people just have to realize that the monkey haters outnumber the monkey lovers. The monks are trying to do good, more than I can say for most people in general. Monkeys are hated by a majority of the people that live near them.
