World of Dance - Hawaii | Test Shoot Highlights | STRIFE.TV

Shot at World of Dance Hawaii in December, 2010, this was my first test run with a Canon 7D.
Shot at 60 fps (for most of it) with the stock EF 28-135mm IS lens.

Made a lot of mistakes during the shoot which resulted in really noisy footage, but it was a good learning experience.

How did you guys slow down the clip and speed it up afterwards with twixtor? did you guys just guys just one clip, or did you guys use separate clips and transition it

@bboyJARHEAD didn't use twixtor for this one, just shot it at 60fps and conformed the footage to 30 fps. In Final Cut you can split a clip at any point and just change the speed.

I know alot of men/boys won't admit this but, I cried of happines and joy on this vid it touched me verry much, I don't know why... maybe the unity at the end when everybody comes together and show that it's not only a battle but togetherness :D

Why did you decide to go with the EF 28-135mm lens? Which other lens would you recommend for shooting dance/video?
