When will this sad post-menopausal creature Lumley comprehend Britain should NOT act as a dump for every third world refugee charity case. These people are in fact paid a pension that gives them a good standard of living in their own country. These so called “celebrities” such as Lumley and Redgrave should stick to acting not prostitute themselves through the media to force their extreme unelected left wing views regarding third world parasites on the British taxpayer.

She states a damn good point, totally answered that reporter's last question in true British fashion. We need more intelligent and broad minded women like her.

the gurhas served the british army very well abroad - but there's not enough place to take them all in & look after them all.
I adore you Joanna, welldone with your cause x

Priests and preachers are allowed to grace our shores and spout there hate towards us as a country and people, yet the Gurkhas, who have fought and DIED for this us - more so than anyone else trying to get in - are refused?
Politicians are living in a bubble. We wont diversity in this country, we want strong laws and calculated decision from the immagration office. Yet we want some bloody common sense. How can a Gurkha come out worse over an extremeist who'd rather bomb us than shake our hand?
