Community-based Biodiversity Conservation Films

CBCF is currently a conservation filmmaking Not-for-profit limited company, running in and among Kenyan and Tanzanian Indigenous Communities rich in Biodiversity but poor in resources.

CBCF is equipped to make a major present and future contribution to biodiversity conservation in Eastern Africa and three Conventions {The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD); the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES); and the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS)}, through its independent ability to extend filmmaking skills and service to the above mentioned communities, as a low-cost, high-quality, practical tool so that it is widely taken up as a day-to-day means to conserve and promote the conservation of Biodiversity, ecosystems and sustainable livelihoods.
