What a wonderful piece of film ! I've just read 'The Way Of A Ship' , about the square riggers at the end of the 19th century. Those men endured lousy wages, a poor diet, wretched conditions aboard the ships and the question that modern-day sailors ask is this: How did they do it ? As one who thinks twice about walking the 7 minutes to the supermarket in squally weather, I ask the same question.
