huh, that's strange it really sounds like it's tapped. It's still possible that he doesn't tap it live but that he tapped it on the CD. Anyway, tapping it sounds as good to me

On the CD it's tapped, but he doesn't tap it live. Shit's hard to do (for me anyway.) I have trouble tapping any lower than the 12th fret. Especially on the lower strings.
