Half Life 2: Episode 1. The One Free Bullet Walkthrough (Part 1) The jouney begins.

Inspired by "The one free bullet" achievement on the Xbox 360 version of Episode 1, this Play-thru is done on PC on Normal difficulty settings.

Rules and restrictions:
-Only 1 bullet can be fired during the entire game (It's noted in the video where that 1 bullet is used).
-The only ways to kill your enemy is: Gravity gun, grenades, crowbar and RPG
-SMG grenades and Pulse Rifle cores are not allowed.

This videos will not be perfect, I'll make mistakes and won't always have a solid strategy for some situations.

when you go for this achievement do you have to start the game on the very first mission? or can you start from the chapter you started on in the video and go through there?

You do have to start on the very first mission, but it's all with the super grav gun so I didn't think it needed a guide.

do you have to use 1 bullet or can you just do the whole thing without shooting a gun

There is lock in the next video that can't be blown off with the grav gun, so you do have to fire 1 bullet.

I plan to, but if you're going for the achievement you are allowed to kill with your crowbar, grenades, and rpg

My favorite weapon was the Wall Radiator, although had trouble fitting it through the door sometimes, took out enemies with ease=P

why not just use the grav gun AGAINST all the creatures? you can see how powerful it gets when it pushes stuff!

@TommyKirbyFTW auto pistol yes. unlimited clip no, you can hear her reload after a while of shooting nonstop

@gawmovies You CAN use the crowbar, rocket launcher, hand grenades and anything you can fling with the gravity gun, you CANNOT use any of the guns, the crossbow, SMG grenades or the pulse rifle energy shots. It actually isn't as hard as it sounds, just make sure you keep Alyx in a position to easily dispatch enemies, and always have something to fling with the gravity gun. Explosive barrels are really useful, as is grabbing the grenades from zombines to shoot back at them.

Grenades,rockets, gravity gun, and the crowbar can be used since they don't use bullets.
