Owl City - Fireflies (drum cover - 2009)

HEY! I WILL BE FILMING A SECOND COVER OF THIS SONG ON NEW YEARS. I feel like this doesn't represent my drumming style well anymore.

I love all the constructive criticism, but comments like "your drums suck" and "your drums sound like poop" are annoying. My drums don't sound anything like they do in this video. They sound amazing. This is just a bad recording.


My "cover" of the song "Fireflies" by Owl City. I really liked this song from the first time I heard it, so I decided to give it a go. It's difficult to fill in for programmed drums, but this song has plenty of room for some sweet licks. It's not technically a "cover" because I don't duplicate the drums, but that's not my goal. My goal is to jam and have fun doing it, and gosh darnit, I did. Props to my mom for sticking her head in the door at 3:10 and throwing my focus out the window ;). First take, all improvisation......

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! MY EARS!!!!!!! it's really hurts.. 1. learn to hit the drum or cymbal after thought, don't look like ur on your way to the moon, and 3 ebay is a simple solution to get rid of those drums before you hurt somebody else..

2. Try not to make a list that skips straight from 1 to 3.

3. Not commenting on videos is a simple solution for you to stop embarrassing yourself.

I'll accept contructive criticism, but when you insult me, I just get an excuse to block you AND make a nice reply to your comment.

@TheBenWelch Dude. You got called out by Justin Bieber! But hey for real. Its a tad sloppy. Dont worry about it. Just lay in the pocket. You have good potential. On the the high hat put the top cymbal down. And choke down with the foot after an open hit a tad faster. Much more crisp. Happy drumming brother.

Dude, we can clearly see your playing and it is obviously not bad at all! Therefore, the sound quality is not that good.
