Take twenty British penaioners, whose ages range from 75 to 91, introduce them to a grouop of young people who have awarded them a great honour, surround them with banks of cameras from television and press and you have a recipe for high emotion.

So it was for the Zimmers Band when we went to Berlin last week to receive an award and to release the long awaited release of the album "Lust for Life"

I don't think that any of us would be ashamed to say that it was a tear- jerking experience.

I hope that the video has explained some of the reasons for the visit and the causes that it supports.
