Defend the labour rights in Iran!
The Iranian working class is every day facing massive attacks of the authoritarian capitalist government of Iran. Despite the lack of undeniable and basic labour rights in Iran, the working class of Iran defends its rights in an ongoing fight against one of the most aggressive capitalist governments, which is armed with Islamic laws.
There are every day protests and strikes against the outstanding wages, wage level, temporary work contract, signed blank checks, mass layoffs, lack of Unemployment insurance and health franchise payments etc., which are the initial struggles of the workers in Iran.
These Workers in absence of right to build their own independent labor organizations, battle against the oppression and their exploitation. They need international solidarity.
The Iranian working class is not alone.
For this reason, after a period of long discussions that had begun months before, finally five large French Trade Unions with two labor organizations in France announced a first protest action in defence of workers of Iran during the International Labor Organization conference on June 9, 2011.
At present, trade union activists such as Mansour Osanloo, Ibrahim Madadi, Reza Shahabi, Abdolhosseini, Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, Majid Tamjidi, Ibrahim Ismaili, Hossein Moradi and many other true representatives of the workers are either held in prison under inhuman conditions, or are released on heavy bails from prison and awaiting trials.
We, the Solidarity Committees with the Iranian Workers' Movement Abroad, explicitly call for the exclusion of the representatives of the capitalist Islamic government from the international labor organization.
Expecting that this coordinated action will be a cornerstone for the release of the detained workers, but also all the political prisoners in Iran.
Long live the international solidarity of the working class!
