i just got this camera and i have many questions wen it saves the clips to my computer it saves them as a unviewable format how can i be able to view these clips without sacraficing quality

Try to stay away from automatic controls, it really can mess up your shot and looks unprofessional. I have some more videos on vimeo, go to the vimeo search bar and type in hf s10 atlantic city.

Thanks, use your manual controls, set your frame rate, shutter speed, white balance, gain, and exsposure before you shoot to get the best results. You wnat your gain at 0db to get rid of any grain. White balance to a white or blue sheet of paper, blue for a warmer look, and adjust the rest to your environment around you. I used sony vegas to edit and render my footage. Patience and understanding all of your cameras features and how to use them, adapt to your surrondings, setup, adjust and shoot.

I'm curious how did you learn about all the manual controls? I just bought this camera and want to be able to use it to the fullest. Did you just google about frame rate and shutter speed? or did you buy a book and read all about that stuff?

The name of the book is " The Filmmakers handbook" 2008 edition, by steven ascher and edward Pincus.
