Denver is the best skate scene in the country, period.
Denver is always on the top of my list when it comes to cities on tour that I anticipate the most. The great skate scene and the 300+ days of sunshine per year, makes it a no-brainer. Top 3 in the comp went like this. 3rd went to young Phil Hansen with his usual fast paced style and tricks like a double heel flip. 2nd went to last years Denver winner, Jared Stoots as he killed the tranny and landed gap to noseblunt and more. 1st place went to last year's Hometown Heroes Finals overall winner Julian Christianson. Julian lands insanely hard tricks with consistency like, nollie heel board slide, nollie tail to fakie, nollie crooks, nollie feeble and a board slide to feeble down the handrail are a few examples of why he won. He also landed switch heel and switch varial heel down the double set, and nollie big spins over the gap as an after thought instead of just doing an ollie between tricks. This guy could win it all this year, but we'll have to wait and see...
@skaterman926 You're not Phil Hansen.
