Kicesie has been speaking publicly about what happened for a while now. I've only started watching recently. But any man or woman who puts up a fight against sexual or physical abuse deserves the support of everyone around them. There's not much I can say in a thirty second video, and while words rarely fail me, I wasn't even sure what to say, but I felt I wanted to say something, anything.

  • @colornine84 by being strong, I ment that she bounced back, didn't let it wreck her life.

  • @ralphedds1 She's not strong, if she is then why didn't she fend off her attacker.

  • To follow up on my previous post, I believe the only way to make any REAL headway in the fight against rape is to legislate and enforce heavy jail time on the kind of women who would seek to use assault or rape laws as a weapon. Until that happens, the problem WILL persist.

And to those who say tanktops, spaghetti straps, etc... are "suggestive", that is b.s. I don't care if she's walking down the street in a bikini in winter, that does not give you a free pass to rape her.

  • Ironically, the real problem in the fight against rape is women.

In a study that span nine years, sociologist Eugene J. Kanin’s findings were that in the United States, 41% of rape allegations are false. Kanin discovered that most of the false accusers were motivated by a need for an alibi or seeking revenge. Essentially, there are no formal negative consequences for the person who files a false report of rape. Falsely accused men can face jail and have their money taken away.

I was referring to spaghetti straps, fishnets, and things of that nature.

Though honestly, if I think a woman looks or acts like trash, I generally avoid them. If they look misunderstood or in danger though, then I go straight into bodyguard mode. The would-be predators then spend more time trying to embarrass or chase me away than they do actually preying on girls. It's a story oft-repeated in college dorm hall lobbies.

  • @DozerfleetProd You know what else makes women look "easy?" Loose clothing, long hair, pony tails and saying, "I'm sorry" when you bump into a stranger. The clothing and hair is all what guys can grab on to. And when a women says, "I'm sorry" it shows that they're passive. So unless a women has attitude and is rude, we usually look pretty "easy."

  • @DozerfleetProd

This works in a meta sense too: If I don't comment to correct, then I can't have words that another can twist or add to or otherwise distort. Doesn't make it right for anyone to distort my message, but I still took a risk, did I not?

  • @hannabthemd

When did I say that? Never. The fact is, if someone's clothing suggests they're promiscuous, that tells predators that they're "easy." Wolves prey on weakness, and being easy is often interpreted as a weakness.

Have you read my hit-and-run analogy above? Don't dance on the highway, or a car will hit you. It doesn't give drivers the right; but it'll still happen.

Now with predators, there are always a few that won't stop no matter what blocks them. Commonsense saves lives.

  • @DozerfleetProd So just because a girl wears a shorter skirt or a v-neck top gives the right to any man to force her into sexual acts??

  • Kirk, when she came on and asked for help, i sent her money, it wasn' t for her legal shit? you know cuz of what happened to her? I don't remember ever getting a thank you.
