what is the corn syrup for?

I just went and bought all the ingredients! Going to try making it right now! ;)) hope it turns out well! Thanks for the video btw!

A no-fat, no sugar alternative: steam the potatoes, use artificial sweetener. That's how I've been making it for years, and everybody in my family thinks it is very close to the flavor and texture of the original dish!

You can use any kinds of potatoes you like for this recipe. I usually buy yellow skin potato.

Can I use honey instead of corn syrup?

@fairyko012
Sometimes I don't like too strong honey flavor in side-dishes.. if it's dessert it's okay.. anyway.. maybe you can use sugar instead.. or if you don't mind to taste honey in your side-dish. you can try it too.. thanks
