Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL 14) appeared on "Freedom Watch" to discuss his views on the various plans to wrangle the looming debt crisis that currently face the country. Guest host Charles Payne asked Congressman Mack, a frequent "Freedom Watch" invitee, about a plan Payne calls the "nuclear option," a plan in which President Obama invokes the 14th Amendment to the Constitution to raise the debt ceiling on his own, without Congress' oversight or approval. While Congressman Mack supports the ideas behind the Cut, Cap and Balance plan, he states to Payne that he cannot support tying that plan to a rise of America's federal debt ceiling. He believes that such a move would be detrimental to the country as a whole. Source: FOX Business Network. Air Date: 7/19/11
