I'm glad you uploaded this -- so far as I can tell, this was the only preview to ever show footage from the cancelled-before-ever-airing "12 Miles of Bad Road" series.

I remember seeing this HBO commercial one night while at a conference in Chicago in April 2007. It was the first time I had heard this song by the Fray.

well this isnt exactly a preview if u buy the dvd in the first cd there is a longer preview better music more part of john adams, its not completely of john adams but thre are some parts btw im not tryin to promote the vid or anything im just sayin it

Historically accurate detail makes for compelling viewing. Giamatti and Linney are briliant. Giamatti seems so much like this decade's Tom Hulce: he's an actor of great passion and intensity that can in a moment melt into a soft tenderness and then harden into true resolve and grit--all within moments. Few actors can match this flexibility and feeling.
