I think you are an oustanding organist! Way to go! I was wondering how you put your whole set up together. I would like to do something similiar in my home. Can you give me any advise?

This piece, the playing, and the registration gives me such joy. I love referring music loving friends, including professional musicians, to this page. Their reactions are typically ones of awe. Thank you for producing, playing, and posting.

@raymx1 Oh please give it a rest!

A great piece! Difficult, too, but beautifully executed. Does the organ sound as good through the speakers as it does here? I know that many electronic organs are let down by inadequate speakers and I assume here that this recording is a direct input. Most are ok played quietly but become coarse when played loudly as the sound lacks "body". The building acoustics have input, too.

I wish my stake center(Martinsburg, WV) organ sounded like this!! No wait, every chapel throughout the church!!!
I think it just goes to prove how inferior Hauptwerk is to a real pipe organ. The reeds in particular have no real bite and the flues are too electronic.
However, the playing is brilliant!

To each their own, though I think that's a bit rough. Generally speaking, I think it goes without saying that a pipe organ is superior than an imitation of one. Having said that, if you compare this with the MoTab's recording, I think I achieved a reasonably similar sound.
Also, keep in mind that this recording uses synthetic reverb, which isn't going to be as good as real "wet samples". It's just too bad that there are no wet sample sets the size of this organ.

Don't get me wrong - Hauptwerk is far better than many small English Victorian organs. And anything which preserves organ music as an art form cannot be a bad thing.

I can agree with that. The pipe organ needs a shot in the arm right about now, and I think Hauptwerk has the potential to do exactly that.
