I agree. Though I'm a 59 year old white man, I could never understand why they targeted this show as racist. Have they seen some of the stuff that's on TV now?! I think if there had been more of a range of shows featuring blacks, I don't think it would have caught so much flack.

Wow!!! Was that ever FUNNY! "I's Tom Smith. Who is the FishKing?" "Hello dere Emerald. Or whatever jewel you is." I am a Black woman 59 years old! This just a funny show! Plain and simple! My sides ache from laughing so hard. Nothin' racist. So the NAACP should've gotten a grip on things.Every group of people has a bunch of knuckleheads, along with doctors, lawyers business people and the like. I love this show. Thanks matthias1949!
