After 6.Nxe5 you missed a simple win by 6...Qd4! threatening Qf2 mate and Qxe5. This is a standard Ruy Lopez trap. If you want to have success with the FP it is helpful to know a bit about the Ruy Lopez in general and the Berlin Defense specifically.
