This video is for my 'beloved' wee Suranne who has so often said "I love the sound of your voice". I have too often laughed off these remarks but recently made a video for myself so I could smile again at the memory of my mum's voice. So now, whenever Suranne (or anyone else) wants to hear from me (and I can't be there) well, for better or worse you can now hear me back on Youtube. Tho' I would point out that I seldom talk so slow, as I do on this clip BUT a story (with pictures) should not be read at 100mph so here I have done my best. And, as it is the 31.12.2011 - let me take the opportunity to wish everyone a very, very happy New Year in 2012 and beyond. I have felt a bit 'daft' recording myself for this wee clip but hey, such a thing never held my parents back from letting me know that I was loved so this is my wee 'audio-visual' gift to whoever's day I might improve.
;-D SMILE and pass it on!
Kindest regards, Shona x
PS: What inspired me in this storyline was the recent process of filing 1,000s of files - I saw years whizzing by: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and then another New Year was round again. Looking at my photos I wondered which season was the best for photos - but every season had its own unique features, but across the whole year it is 'Mother Nature' that pulls it all together. Yup, mums are good at that and the more we realise that when they are gone.
Simply beautiful, Shona.

May this year be better than last year for you!

I just love it Shona. Thanks so much for sharing and yes, I love the sound of your voice. I fully understand the mother's voice and talking 100mph. I hope this is a fabulous, loving and prosperous year for you and all the great work you do. You have such a huge heart and we are so blessed that you'e chosen to share your work with us all. Happy New Year! Blessings be to you and yours.
