i was there and that was that was the only time they sung i was well sad ther ment to have best atmosphere and it was shit im sorry we outsung then the whole game, i watched highlights and it didnt sound like it much but i was there and we did trutst me! and i no celtic park isnt always but honestly we did out sing them

There's a lot of English arrogance coming out in this debate. Scotland is a country of 5 million (like Norway) yet our clubs have appeared in 10 European finals. We have punched above our weight for decades. England is a country of 55m, with £b's going into the Sky league. 70% of EPL players are foreign mercenaries and they have managed less ECL titles than Spain or Italy in the last 20 years. Your national team is underachieving and yet you feel the need to boast that you beat a Scottish team?

enfieldgooner, I used to have a lot of respect for Arsenal and their fans but your juvenile boasting is embarrassing. 'London' Arsenal had no English players on the field, Danny Fox was the only Englishman on the pitch. The fact you have pots of money to buy foreign players and Celtic don't, doesn't make you great. It makes you another bloated rich club trying to buy success. Celtic won the European cup with verve, style and 11 Scots. Remind me how many times Arsenal have won it?

I would LOVE to see just how good Arsenal, Man Utd etc would be and just how well they would fare against clubs like Celtic if they were operating on the same, miniscule resources... Lets keep things in perspective shall we...?

Scottish footy is not the best but neither is england. We have beat Juventus, Man Utd, AC Milan< Porto, Benfica, Liverpool etc in rescent years then one defeat means we are not good enough. It's ok having great teams when you can spend 10-15mil on one player we have less to stregthen a full squad in champs league and we STILL compete mon the hoops. Just because EPLbought some success does not mean you have done well through good hard work. Man Utd are the only team who worked for it by winning
