  • Hello. I've come to see your video after seeing the captures on Skywaves. This is a nice confirmation that a DX in DVB-T is really possible by tropo (I was not sure about this posibility before). Really nice and great performance. Congratulations. BTW, is it a TV tunner or a stand-alone TV receiver with DVB-T and S-Video/SCART output? 73's

  • Hello,thanks for your comments!

It's a stand alone set top box made by "Strong" model SRT 8010.Antenna is a Televes DAT 75 at around 15 metres above ground level+preamplifier.I'm around 10KM away from the coast.

The main requirement for DVB-T DX is very little/no co channel interference !!!

  • Wow... I wonder if this is a record for DVB-T reception...

  • Hi.

Don't know,it certainly shows providing there is little co channel interference and the conditoons are right the signal can propagate well.

  • .Hello.Portugal uses mpeg 4,Spain uses

mpeg 2 but the decoders sold here work

    on both systems.

Ola.Portugal utiliza MPEG 4, España utiliza MPEG 2 pero los decodificadores vendidos aquí funcionan en los dos sistemas
