@TheXXiao actually, they supported the KMT initially because of the ideology. They have always been against communist ideology (that has to do with USSR). That's the only reason, it's because they didn't want the CCP to win. But they didn't like the KMT either, they were supporting it half-heartedly.

I'll admit out country is'nt perfect, but we do care about other countries we try to help them out, sometimes things get out of control but at least we try to fix it and even help in the first place!!!! What's this about the US supporting the CCP before the Korean War? The US has never supported China, they have always looked to cause destruction upon us, that's why they supported the KMT, they wanted Chinese to fight Chinese, then after the war they come into the country and take the land. Basically nearly all the Western countries like to play such games on other so called weaker countries!
