  • Baddass movie. I can't stand Billie's 2 jealous sisters and was glad she got enough sense to listen to her foster sister instead of their ignorant low life nonsense asses.

  • I am glad that BIllie Jean went on to make something of herself. Otherwise I wa never going to be able to exhale. Whew! I just wished that the mom really found out why Netta got new on her. That would be painful in real life, as crazy as she was about her. I ain't got no words for the eveil sisters. I just hope that they found their own lives...Wow. I got to wrapped up in this movie. It was great. Thanks for posting it.

  • @hanbone76 lol so true....tyler perry has potential to make powerful and realistic black movies but he keeps coming up with the same formula and it aint working no more.

  • This movie was awesome. Like really. I enjoyed it a lot.

  • I truly love this movie , thanks for uploading !!

  • This movie is absolutely awesome. Old school style !!! Pass it on so we can enlighten others. G

  • @theslabbxxx There was no loose ends. Netta had already told Billie Jean when she got her degree, she was going to law school, same place, and she was going to be there for awhile, and she wanted her to come be there with her. So as you can see, Billie Jean went. It was up to us to figure out what happened with her from there, I always thought she made it. Her sisters, well let's just say, they either wised up or still learned the hard way. Rosie.... sometimes you have to admit you're wrong.

  • Mama Rosa (Louise Stubbs) is the great grandma of Terrence Howard. You can see the resemblence in those crossed looking eyes...

  • Everyone should watch this film.

  • i thank mr scott(NYT) for recommending this movie.IT IS BRILLIANT!

  • @TheMidcoast1 look up 'Tamu Blackwell' in the search engine. someone made a tribute to her.
