"Demeteria, where did you get that?" Queen Celeste's mocha eyes widened as her stare fell upon the piece of painting in her young daughter's hand. Her eyes flickered back to her daughter's resembling eyes "Why were you in my things?"

"Tell me the truth," Princess Demi heard her own voice crack in her ears, though she didn't let that stop her from continuing, she held her ground and glanced at her father who was worriedly searching the yard for any eavesdroppers. "Who is she?'

Queen Celeste paced herself for the small spiral bench that was set off to the side, sitting down she tapped the empty stop beside her and waited to Demi to join her. "I was 17; the time when I found out I was to have a baby girl and well you know the rules; a young woman must not have a child until she is married. When our parents found out of the situation ... they took care of it." Celeste looked up are her husband's warm expression and she looked back to Demi, finishing her story. "After, your father and I got married we searched everywhere for our little girl, but we learned that she was in a fire with the man and woman who our parents gave her off to."

Steven nodded her story making sense to him, but she was leaving one thing ... or rather one person out of the picture. "Did you ever have a boy as well and also gave him off?"

"We only had the girl, Selena." King William responded, frowning. "Why, do you ask?"

"You never gave birth to a boy and named him Aiden?" Demeteria's eyes bounced back and forth between her parents only to see them shaking their heads in a no.

"Why are we back here?" Aiden whined as he dropped his bag onto the ground, letting it thump as it hit the solid concrete. "I wanted to stay at the palace with Lo- Prince Logan."

"I already told you, my duties in the palace are done. We are free from there. Aiden, you should be happy." Selena shook her head, as she slid her coat off her shoulders. Walking to the blankets spread on the ground the memories rushed back into her head of when her parents used to leave her and Aiden behind sometimes with their neighbor and they would sleep on those very same blankets. "We'll be leaving the village in a couple days; we'll go visit some family we have in the northern kingdom."

"Are we running away? Have I done something wrong again?" Aiden frowned.

Selena laughed softly as she shook her head "No, of course not. I just want something new for us, ok? Nothing to worry about." She wrapped her arms around his small frame and hugged him. "Now go get some rest we have a long week ahead of us."

Sorry its so short but better than nothing right :) & Once this story is over i have a new one in store for you guys but one thing ... the leading guy is a musician and i was wondering what you guys like better Nick or Logan for that role??
