@neneshubby - I kind of preferred the earlier season scene that looked more like a turbojet lighting up, rather than the big belch of flame.

I know they used 5 batmobiles for the depending on what they needed it to do,Still the best car on any tv show.

FYI The #1 all metal '55 Lincoln Futura conversion car was used in every episode. There were 3 fiberglass copies made during the run of the show and I discovered that one replica was used in only one static scene on the show. The replicas were used for touring and promotion purposes. Another all metal car was built by a fan and was acquired by George Barris and was also used for touring and promotions. for more information please visit 1966batmobile-dot-com

Anybody know what happened to the
ORIGINAL Batmobile they actually built
for the TV show? There are like dozens
of fake replicas all over the country but
if you look at them closely you can tell.
Maybe some Arab or European bankster
has it hid away somewhere.
