Le Shock! I breathe! No, but seriously. This is a Mytho/Ahiru (or Tutu, you get the nub and gist) amv, and the song was a request from Elytra a LONG time ago. (A year and two weeks in fact) And I finally got around to finishing it. I've been working on this on and off for a few months, but it's a simple amv, really. When the song was presented to me, I thought it was gorgeous and I planned on using it for a Ruetho video, but then I realized I was an idiot (it fits Mythiru far better) and made it into this.

Song and artist are listed in the credits.

The idea of the amv follows the lyrics closely, and focuses on scene selection and some timing (which is a bitch on some slower parts of songs). Every scene is in there for a specific reason, and I almost think that some of this will go over people's heads (like the [this is the same place; no, not the same place] part, which is a reference to the fact that her first time seeing the prince she just watched him, while in her dreams the next time around, she turned into a girl and danced with him) but I hope you enjoy it all the same.

There aren't many effects in this either, since it felt like they would detract from the video, and the very few effects that I did have I wasn't certain about leaving in there. :x (And I'm aware one of them came out kinda funky, but I hope that doesn't bother anyone any.) The ending is also meant to be left up to interpretation. Take it as you want to take it for what ended up happening to the duck and the prince.

I can't even really begin to describe all that I love about this. But let me just say, your editing is so complete. You've got a brilliant use of effects, lyrical skill, scene-matching, timing, quality, and the best part is, none of the parts are weaker than another.

I agree with Keenon. The scenes selected are very subtle and gentle, and I really like the instrumental breaks. 1:51 - 2:02 is epic. It runs through my head every time I hear the song, which I have since become addicted to. I didn't even know the song until I saw this.
