Addicted Offroad's Toyota 4runner Lambo tire carrier Part-2

Looks nice. is the strut rod Needed? can you do without it? And is it possible to lower the tire to see out rear window? Maybe put tag in the wheel. thanks

How much will buying that tire carrier add on to the price of the bumper? I have an '87 4Runner and have been searching for a custom bumper with tire carrier combo. And will you custom make me the tire carrier where the tire and pivot point are on the driver's side of the truck?

oh snap i take back my other comment about the tailgate. 
still if i hit that tire carrier with my truck it seems it would mess up the latch. much props on the design though maybe a more solid case where the latch goes into maybe.....what ever show me a vid of u ramming that tire with another vehicle and it not break and ill buy one!
