Budgie's First Bath

This is Vodka. (Name of the bird, not the liquid he's bathing in. :P)

My dad found him sitting in the snow a couple of years ago. Dad picked him up, put him in his pocket and brought Vodka home. We had to teach him everything, even how to step onto your finger. This is what happened the first time I gave him a bowl of water to bathe in.

He looks kind of confused, doesn't he? =3

[P.s.: Two seconds after turning my camera off, he fell beak-first into the bowl. xDDD]

He (and all birds) feel quite vulnerable in the water because they cannot readily attain lift as quickly as when dry... there is the instinctive hesitation therefore. Do you see how he approaches you a couple of times as if to ask "You're not going to pull anything right?!!" He is a darling and thanks for sharing!
