Inca is a 1992 computer game developed by Coktel Vision and published by Sierra On-Line.

Inca has been famous for combining many different genres to form a certain storyline. Although mostly a fighting space simulator, some levels were purely shooting, had maze exploration, and some included riddles that could be solved by combining inventory items.

The setting is an uchronic war between Incas and Spaniards that takes place in space. Levels vary in gameplay, forming a variable and rich gameplay, however the surreal nature of the game (common in Coktel Vision adventures) gives no comprehensive storyline or solution to riddles, which are solved simply by trying random item combinations.

Huayna Capac, last grand Inca, prepares a warrior called El Dorado to fight Aguirre, the Spanish leader. Eldorado will find himself in space flying a Tumi-shaped spaceship and dogfight with Spanish spaceships.

El Dorado will find himself fighting his way through mazes, or on board the Spanish mothership (actually a Galleon flying in space) trying to escape, he will meet the Aclla and uncover three magical gems that will help him vanquish the Conquistadors.

  • Oh English Voice? I wasn't knowing this version, the version that i've buyed in the 90's was unfortunatly only in Spanish for the voice but in english for the text. It's seem the opposite that we have! ^,^

  • @Napostriouf That's very strange, I didn't know there was a version with spanish voices! I got this game for free with the Spanish edition of Computer Gaming World back in 1997/98,

  • @StormSpirit86 The one on my channel, is the version that i've buyed in Montréal in 1992. With Spanish voice, but english text, that's why that i founded this weird, as your video have english voice but spanish text!

  • @Napostriouf Ahhh, I've seen your video. Actually, you have the floppy disk version, it only features voices in the introduction and has MIDI music. The voice on the intro is not in Spanish, it's Quechua, the language spoken by the Incas. My version has the same speech on the intro on the same language and then the rest is in English. Hope that clears the confusion!
