Renton is Ready for the Electric Vehicle Revolution

On July 12, 2011, the City of Renton ceremonially "plugged in" to the electric vehicle revolution! Mayor Law, City Council Members, electric vehicle enthusiasts, and the community unplugged vehicles at the newly installed charging stations at the City Center Parking Garage and led a procession of 16 EVs to The Landing, where they plugged in to two of the four charging stations in the parking garage.

By the end of the year (2011), there will be more than 15 public charging facilities in Renton. For more information about Renton's EV charging network, visit http://rentonwa.gov/living/default.aspx?id=30292.
